When it come to selling good quality used vehicle Paul Scull believes in giving his customers peace of mind. That means that every car sold will have a new Mot, service and warranty. Paul's pledge follows the opening of his Celtic Car Company on the city's Cromwell Road.
"The goal of our business is to become a premier retail supplier of quality used vehicle within the local area. Customer service is the key as is the personal touch of a family business."
With prices ranging from £4,000 and £10,000 Paul knows from his 12 years experience in the trade - from salesman to director - that some car companies just don't get it right.
"It is my intention to focus very carefully on core values. I'm offering quality at a fair price, total customer service and an after sales total support."
Paul believes that Newport is well served by new and very large car supermarkets but these lack the personal touch whereas the Celtic Car Company stands for good old-fashion values of quality service.
One sales outlet, the internet, is already bringing in customers.
"We have a lot of people who have seen cars on the net and that bodes well for the future."
